★ Barring player intervention, November will be more of a slow month. Characters may have a little downtime, as a treat. ★ Any questions pertaining to this month's update in particular may as always be directed to the mod top level below

★ October 31st has come and gone, and with it the sun begins to rise on November 1st. Strangely enough, this seems to mark the beginning of complete day/night cycles, as the sun continues to rise and set for the duration of the month. Similarly, a blood red moon travels across the sky, although its pair seems to be missing.

★ Characters who partook in the candles will find that as the sun rises, their newfound abilities slowly fade away like wisps on the wind, gone forever. Goodbye catboy Noah.

★ The tent flaps of Cirque Illume are open, and looking inside reveals roughly two dozen Masks hard at work constructing new platforms and stages for the circus. Gone are all traces of the Grand Ballroom, and the Masks themselves have seemingly gone back to their normal, empty ways.

★ The animatronics within It'z Quite The Large World continue to sing Mafuyu's songs. The temporal displacement seems to still be suppressed, and from start to finish the ride will only take up its originally slotted ten minute time period. It no longer goes dark halfway through, and for all intents and purposes, it merely seems like a regular park attraction.

★ The goldfish are gone.

★ The lights beneath the lake have been snuffed out. Hands no longer try to drown anyone caught within the waves, but dunking one's head below the water allows the swimmer to hear the faint sounds of singing somewhere in the depths. Listening in for long enough allows the character to recognize that the songs below the waters match the songs now sung within It'z Quite The Large World.

★ The showers are still freezing cold no matter how long they are turned on for, and the water emitted continues to taste strongly of salt.

★ The gift shop has returned to normal, though any costumes previously taken from the boutique seem permanently in each character's possession.

★ The Nightmares that emerged from the mist on Halloween are still present, though they appear to wander the park when the moon rises. They avoid the central area near the Hi-RiZe, which begins its daily curfew cycle each sunset.

★ Near the suggestions box, a second station containing a clipboard has been set up. The page clamped to the board reads, "Holiday Getaway Sign-Ups!" in neat, bubbly handwriting. A pen is attached to the clipboard with a pink string of yarn, and players may sign up their characters for the December trip on the mod comment below.

★ During the day, a black fox may occasionally be spotted darting about the park grounds. It does not remain in one place long enough to allow interactions, but feel free to chase it around.

★ A special, temporary food cart has set up near the seal fountain in Prize Alley. It is currently offering kale aojiru and jalapeño mochi.

★ CR: Mafuyu is the very tired lyricist and mixer for indie music group 25-ji Nightcord de. She's been going through it a little to be honest, and she's over it? She's over it. On the surface she comes off as a polite, kind girl despite the heavy exhaustion set and now that her throat has finished recovering (hopefully), she'll be able to keep up this mask a little easier! Beneath this, however, is an emotionally stunted, traumatized teenager who's trying to heal and rediscover herself, as opposed to what her family and peers want from her. With Noah helping her to understand that her parents are emotionally abusive, however, I get the feeling she's going to be dropping the mask more- she's already dropped it completely with Noah himself, and as Kanade is her hopeful savior Kanade gets the real Mafuyu as well.
★ Plans: Last month she got kidnapped by water demons, had some talks with her demon bunny and our favorite ringmaster and has some information! This month she's planning to share it at a family meeting because hoo boy. I'm going to uhhhh miiiinorly retcon the dating of some of the information she's gotten so that it makes sense for her to have shared it later to be honest? Otherwise she's going to continue resting this month, including not triggering herself every time someone goes to the lake now that it's stopped drowning people.

It is indeed her song being sung beneath the water, so if anyone wants to talk to her about that~!

I'm down for anything else though, including shenanigans. Drag her into your crimes, everyone.

★ CR: Kanade is both the leader and composter of an indie underground music group (honestly, they're just fucking utaite) called 25-ji Nightcord de which just. Literally means Nightcord at 25 o'clock. They're original. While she may be softspoken, she's not cold at all, just a bit awkward because she's normally a shut-in and generally not a person who likes being outside. She's also extremely used to eating junk food (sorry) and she isn't good at anything athletic.
★ Plans:

So, uh. Given that it's Mafuyu's song being sung under the water, Kanade is probably going to... write a counter song and try playing it there and see what happens.

Other than that, I don't really have any strong plans for her? She just got the coin so she might be learning about how that works this month as well. Feel free to hit me up here, the Discord or on my plurk at tsundereban!
